And here it is: Nordic Moon 39!
Silver-brazed and blasted bronze case. Anodised and coloured floating aluminium dial with 30 glowing dots arranged in the same pattern as found on the famous Nebra sky disc. Moonphase function. And yes, there is a lot more to mention about this watch. And I will... :)

Today I assembled Nordic Moon 39. The pressure test turned out just fine, but at the moment the beat rate is not what it should be. Sooo close... :)

The new movement had a slightly flimsy and noisy rotor which I had to replace, but now we are back on track :)
Need to adjust the dial and tags a little, engrave the carrier and make some hands. The crystal gasket should arrive in a few days.
Then there is the finishing of the case...

Slowly but surely...
This time the crown and tube are made of stainless steel rather than titanium as initially planned.

The movement carrier is what keeps the movement in place... ...and the dial. What may look like a very simple part to make, actually requires several machining steps. And quite a bit of engineering goes into it as well. But with some luck it will all fit when later the watch is assembled ;)
