Shell Cordovan is much more than leather, it’s an exceptionally rare, dense equine hide prized for its unique fiber structure.

What makes it truly extraordinary is that only a handful of tanneries in the entire world, such as Nick Horween in the US, SHINKI-HIKAKU co Ltd in Japan, and CONCERIA ROCADO in Italy, have the expertise to produce it.
The tanning process is done exclusively by hand, using natural agents, and takes several months, resulting in an incredibly durable material that develops a stunning patina over time.

Its cool, understated shade beautifully complements the platinum case and white dial, allowing the perfectly balanced perpetual calendar and moonphase display to remain the center of attention.

A bespoke padded strap crafted from Silver Alligator leather, finished with tonal hand stitching for the exceptional Vacheron Constantin Patrimony “Les Complications” Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, Ref. 49005/000P-7622.

The refined silver tone and subtle padding beautifully complement the platinum case and silvered dial, while allowing the perpetual calendar and moonphase display to remain the center of attention.
