My automatic Seiko 5 Sports watch, model SRP203K1, powered by a seiko caliber 4R36. Was the 196th unit of this model released in the Seiko assembly line in October 1, 2011...

Just an ordinary watch, like any other automatic watch, but for me, this is my lucky watch... The first watch I bought, 14 years ago, with the hard earned money I saved...

TRIVIA:
October 14, 2011 was significant to Apple, for it released the iPhone 4S, which introduced the whole world to Siri, the first widely available voice activated digital assistant

My Seiko 5 Actus Daini Seikosha is having its wrist time today, April 29, 2026...

So nice to wear and feel a 51 year old watch giving out an accurate time... This particular watch came out from its Daini Assembly Line in Japan in December 1975... Indeed, a classic example of Timelessness...

Watch collectors often calls the green sunburst dial on this vintage watch as the "Emerald Actus" until it became one of the most trending colors of Japan Domestic Model Watches (JDM).

Some fine scratches on the faceted Crystal, & on the stainless steel Case as well... A lightly faded grayish sunburst Dial, that is longer than it is wide, resting inside the case's oval geometry... Vertical Day & Date at its 6 o'clock position, seems to deviate from the usual style of 3 o'clock position... Vintage as it may seem for a 52 year old watch, it still tell's you an accurate time... So nice to wear today, a manic Monday.

This is the Citizen Promaster Aqualand Model BJ2000-09E, an Eco-Drive Diver's watch that was first manufactured in 1998. This particular diver's watch came out from its production line in Japan last October 2006 which makes it a fully operational & accurate 20 year old tool watch this coming October 2026.

This BJ2000-09E was one of the first professional-grade Aqualands to use the Eco-Drive technology, eliminating the need for battery changes. One full charge will power the watch while in total darkness for 2 months. From a totally drained condition, it can revive itself even by just seeing an indoor lighting. A great watch indeed...

Maybe unknown to most watch enthusiasts, this watch was produced primarily in the 1970s, as part of a movement to create "scratch-proof" Swiss luxury watches, rivaling brands like the Rado & IWC Watches.

This is the Technos Borazon Marquis, a standout watch with a case & bezel made out of an ultra-hard material like Tungsten Carbide or Boron Carbide.

Aside from having an ultra hard case, the Dial in this watch, is made out from a Tiger's Eye gemstone, known as a "stone of protection" and is frequently associated with the energy of the sun and the earth. Wearing a Technos Borazon with a Tiger’s Eye dial, is essentially carrying a stone as amulet against curses or ill wishes against you, & It is believed to reflect negative energy back to the sender, acting as a spiritual shield...

In a world full of noise, sometimes the most beautiful things are the ones that whisper.
My Seiko SNKK48 isn't just about telling time, it's a reminder to appreciate the moments, not just count them. Its clean lines and classic design speak to a life uncluttered, focused on what truly matters...
A watch with no complex features, no distractions, just elegant simplicity and it is called "Seikonaut" by watch collectors as it pays homage to the iconic Patek Philippe Nautilus.

This is my vintage Vostok Komandirskie watch featuring a submarine on the dial, and explicitly labeled with a russian inscription "СДЕЛАНО В СССР", which translates into "MADE IN USSR"... An indication that these watches were produced during the Soviet Union era which ended in 1991.
I can no longer tell the manufacturing year of this particular russian watch, but probably manufactured in the early 1980s. This is antimagnetic, waterproof with a screw-down crown, & also mechanical, which will need winding every 24 hours to run accurately...

TRIVIA:
The Komandirskie line of watches were created in1965 when Vostok was appointed as an official supplier of watches for the Soviet Union's Ministry of Defence.

My 24 year old rare Seiko SKX171, a 7S26 Autonatic Movement inside a 7020 case, manufactured in December of 2001...
In essence, the SKX171 is seen as a slightly more upscale version of the Seiko Divers SKX007, with its applied indices and potentially more refined bezel. Protected with a Hardflex Crystal, & also capable of reaching a depth of 200 meters.

This is my 52 year old Rado Voyager, a still all-original 636.3426.4 model, manufactured in Switzerland in January of 1973... It's Sapphire Crystal still seems shiny, although with some scratches on its stainless steel case, and with some Patina on its dial due to the watch's golden age... Its self-winding movement with 17 Jewels, still gives out an accurate time...

TRIVIA:
The Anchor Logo on a Rado Watch dial does swings freely, and is not tied at all to the winding of the watch, or its running parts. It freely rotates with hand movement. There are those who believed the idea, that the anchor sits on a jewel that is oiled when the watch was last serviced. When the anchor stops rotating, it alerts the wearer that the watch is already due for servicing.
