Laiya stems from the word “Laya”, meaning free in Tagalog. Laiya, Batangas is not only the ceremony venue but known for the beautiful coastlines and lesser known for the abundance of honey farms in the area.

Preserving our mother language through our products is how we bottle a piece of home to share with the world. We set this intention from the very beginning when we formulated Kinaiya and Kalinaw Body Oils in 2020, despite how hard it may be to pronounce for some. Our language matters.

Each oil is made with natural and noncomedogenic ingredients — best to use on damp skin to seal in hydration or to anoint targeted areas of your body for energetic release.

Every day is earth day but to honor the importance of this time, we’ll be learning how to upcycle Coffee Sarap’s coffee beans into coffee candles and scrubs for each participant to take home. You’ll also be one of the first to try some of their new Filipino inspired cocktails, exclusively sold during the workshop.
