Perlas ng Silanganan: Part 1 of 2

As Janus explored what we could contribute to the world of Filipino watchmaking, we discovered the technique of perlaging—a method known for its intricate, shimmering patterns.

We then developed our own system, crafted with the precision and accuracy required to achieve this magnificent dance of reflection—now found on the reverse side of the Sinag dial.

Swiss mov’t. Filipino Made. The Rose Gold Genesis II.
Depending on the light that strikes the rose gold Sinag dial, it reveals hues that shift from earthen bronze—like the glow of the rice terraces at sunrise—to deep amber, as if lit by the very fire that forged it.

From the very beginning, Janus has always envisioned manufacturing watches in the Philippines.

The rotor presented here is made in 18k rose gold made for an esteemed client. The rotor is high polished with a portion of it is diamond finished.  Mateo 6:33. Let’s make history!
