PE - Bili, desde hace mucho, trabaja una exposición de ficción arqueológica, Museo Rijkrallpa, que será expuesta en noviembre del 2026 en el Centro Cultural de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Para lograrlo ha organizado, junto con Anna, una campaña de micromecenazgo, y nos dice:
El máximo reto de acaba de empezar. Desde la web de crowdfunding de Verkami, juntaremos la energía de personas que crean que los saberes ancestrales y la sostenibilidad desde la artesanía, tienen información vital para nuestro presente tecnológico. Museo Rijkrallpa comienza nuevamente, como hace 29 años, solo que ahora con el objetivo de crecer hasta ser, en un futuro próximo, una escuela de artes aplicadas, para la que ya tiene un terreno en Cusco. La exposición de noviembre es un nuevo primer paso. Te invito a formar parte de este camino. Sembremos fe, tejamos esperanza, criemos fraternidad desde la certeza que podemos transformarlo todo con las manos.

EN - Do you know that jewelry enamel is a powdered glass paste that has a chemical composition very similar to glass or crystal? It is applied to the metal and allowed to melt in an oven or with the help of a blower (a technique we use at Peca Poetic Jewelry) at a temperature between 700 and 900° C. During firing, the silica melts and adapts to the surface and shape of the metal with which it is intimately bonded. When it cools, it becomes a transparent material that allows light to pass through and the texture of the support to be seen, giving it a rich materiality. It is hard, resistant and does not discolor with the action of light.
The oldest traces of enamels were found in the Mediterranean area, specifically on the island of Cyprus in tombs of the Greek Mycenaean civilization from 1500 BC to 1100 BC.

PE - ¿Sabías que el esmalte para joyería es una pasta vítrea molida en polvo que tiene una composición química muy parecida al vidrio o al cristal? Se aplica sobre el metal y se deja fundir dentro de un horno o con la ayuda de un soplete (técnica que empleamos en Peca Joyería Poética) a una temperatura entre 700 y 900° C. Durante la cocción, la sílice se funde y se adapta a la superficie y forma del metal con el que se une íntimamente. Al enfriarse, se convierte en un material transparente que permite el paso de la luz y la visión de la textura del soporte dándole riqueza matérica. Es duro, resistente y no decolora con la acción de la luz.
Los vestigios más antiguos de esmaltes se encontraron en la zona del Mediterráneo, concretamente en la isla de Chipre en tumbas de la civilización micénica griega de 1500 aC hasta 1100 aC.
