Whales have always felt like kin to me - gentle giants swimming through my dreams and spirit. The sea is my sanctuary, the place where I feel truly at home and connected, surrounded by the magical dance of light across the waves and soaking up the secret ancient codes hidden within the water. Living here in Whangaparāoa (Bay of Whales) feels like a joyful wink from the universe, as if to say I’ve landed right where my heart belongs.
This painting is No. 7 in my New Earth Series, celebrating the sacred element of water and the timeless wisdom of the deep. Whales are the quiet storytellers and keepers of ancient truths long forgotten, reminding us of our true purpose on Earth—to live and work together in harmony with the Earth and her oceans—and inviting us to swim beside them as loving guardians, restoring and caring for our waters. 🔴 This piece has received a lot of love! and has sold to a dear friend whose home overlooks Whangaparāoas’ waters
