Protecting my lungs at the bench is non-negotiable when creating statement pieces. 🛠️ Sanding and polishing throws up fine silver and compound dust you shouldn’t be inhaling plus, it instantly fogs up your glasses. 😮‍💨
I switched to the BASE CAMP Mask and it’s a complete game-changer for my workflow at Jody Dirkx Jewellery Design. No more cloudy lenses or metal dust, letting me focus entirely on shaping every detail. ✨

I’m in love with these black spinel - available for custom designs 🖤🖤The facts on Black Spinel:✨ The Sparkle: High refractive index = mirror-like reflection.🔨 The Toughness: 8/10 on the hardness scale. It resists scratches and won’t easily chip.🌱 The Meaning: A powerful grounding stone used for protection and mental clarity.💸 The Value: A rare, completely natural gemstone without the diamond price tag.

A statement, 1-of-1 pair of earrings for the wahine who loves to stand out. Inspired by Kiwi summer and blooming Pōhutukawa trees, these earrings mix rich natural tones with sharp, modern design. 🌿🍒💚❤️

Next on the bench I’m working on some more earrings: Sunstone + Sapphires and Arizona Turquoise + Ethiopian Opals - do you love the colour combos?

No 2. In The Lattice Collection. This new one is a light yellow topaz, dark blue kyanite, moss agate and aquamarine. Why the name 1926 Lattice Collection? Well my old house was built in 1926 and I have it filled with antiques. You will see my Rattan lounge suite and doilies from the same 1920’s era 🩶 more to come….,
