This will be a special one! A tiny talisman ring making workshop in Kurow on October 17 at Kurow Memorial Hall 😊 Design and make your own meaningful ring with me. This event is being hosted by South Star School Charitable Trust as part of the wider Waitaki Arts Festival 2026 . Bookings are via southstarschool.org

Tried to do zen, turns out (funnily enough!) that’s not my visual wheelhouse. This is ‘Nymphaea’ and it’s on the gallery wall at Artē Collective 🪷 last month I went to Tahiti and Nymphaea was a label/name that I noticed for lily ponds which sounds just so dreamy 🩵 making time for painting in amongst making jewellery this year has been the best brain reset, I do love playing with colour ☺️ and I’ve been drawing ponds since I could hold a pencil ! It’s a life long obsession 🐸

Yikes! How could I forget to post these images? The colours! I love them so 😍 I made these rings in July. A few orders and a few just for fun. That lovely yellow beauty and one of the big pinks is now in the gallery. These gems are all cubic zirconia, a man-made stone, which I love for their colour, durability and accessibility. Don’t think I’ve heard this banger since 1999 but it sure is appropriate 🍬
