newing energies of Nature. Gemstones can also remind us to appreciate beauty, balance emotions, focus our minds and connect to our power within. Whenever possible, I venture into the heart of Nature where the powerful, yet tranquil, energy most supports my intuitive creative process. I use quality 925 sterling silver or tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling silver 935, (and occasionally copper wire), to create beautiful, unique, enduring pendants of value. When creating with these natural gemstone treasures, of New Zealand and worldwide origin, I open my heart and surrender to the flow of inspiration, lovingly and intuitively crafting a secure framework, mindfully honouring the integrity and unique expression of each piece. (If I’m not feeling ‘connected to the Divine flow of inspiration’, I put my tools down. I feel it’s so important the gemstones are handled with love, and the pendants that eventuate are the result of high-energy, positivity and loving creation.) I have a range of gemstones, all carefully selected, from which new pendants are created so they may be sold directly, from artist to you. Other pendants created are available through select boutique outlets. I also create pendants specifically for clients' particular requests. I adore connecting with people, one-on-one, to cater for their particular gemstone crystal requirements. Gemstone crystals, both cabochons and tumbled, cradled with love in Sterling Silver and Argentium Sterling Silver. Whether for their beauty, or solidifying healing intentions, gemstones, (also known as healing stones, crystals and minerals), have been revered since ancient times. Experiences with gemstones are unique for each individual. Personally, I greatly value the reminders and symbology they provide. In much the same way a solar panel absorbs the sun’s energy to then store it in a battery pack, I imagine the stones to be charged with a particular energy, which I then find a restorative reminder when wearing or handling that stone. The wonder of being drawn to a particular stone, then further research revealing its purported properties are entirely apt at the time, is a captivating, synchronistic bonus, and a reassurance of a power greater than myself.

With its gorgeous, soft, turquoise-blue hues, it isn’t at all difficult to see why larimar is such a sought after gemstone. I normally feel drawn to create with larimar by the sea, which is no surprise considering its origins from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.

This is an incredibly beautifully-coloured specimen. The sterling silver supports the stone securely, framing the beautiful larimar seamlessly.

9 carat gold wire is coupled with sterling silver and Argentium sterling silver in this gloriously flashy gold labradorite pendant. With the stone itself is 50mm long, it really is a magnificent statement piece. Using 9ct gold wire for the first time, I was slightly nervous.
