How to Prepare to create: Hey its me again Audie -Jewellery Designer and Artist, so you read and applied the things in my last post in this series, now i'm going to give you step by step advice on how to prepare that thing you've decided to create! so you've gathered some inspiration and noted and /or drawn it! now to prepare to bring it to life. 1. Collect and gather the items you need whether its writing supplies, painting or craft supplies, source what you need, collect everything so you are organised and ready. 2. Figure out where your creative place is going to be!! using paint? you'll need a suitable area! writing? potentially you'll need a comfortable quiet space! 3.plan when, easier said than done right, but if you plan a day and time and action it once you start you'll get into the flow of things, perhaps your a mum so during school time or a spot on the weekend blanked out where your not going to have interruptions is best suited to you! follow for more.. my next post is....How to get into the moment and into the creative headspace.

Things i do to be inspired to create! That you can apply too! . 1. Look at read and watch things that are of interest and that you love, for me it's fashion, botanicals, architecture and landscape to name a few , i look at colours, textures, patterns & styles. 2. Travel to new and different places near and far, explore new and different areas, style, Buildings, colours, plants & people. 3. carry a note book or sketch pad, write notes and draw your ideas and visualisations as they come to mind . 4. create a mood board online (Pinterest is a great tool!) or cut and apply pictures, photos you have taken or items to a cardboard mood board ,add sketches and even write words and notes.
