A while ago my taonga lost its lashings due to having been constantly worn day and night. I really felt it's absence.

Last week I finally found a lovely woman Karen Whittington, who is based here in Kaikoura, to re-lash it and braid the neck tie again. What a fantastic job. I'm so happy to be able to wear it again and put love back into it before passing it on one day to my son.
If any of my friends and family need their precious taonga fixed, Karen is your go to.
