Kevlar hose compatibility confirmed.
Kaha brakes are fully compatible with 5mm diameter kevlar brake hoses — ideal for lightweight applications and upside-down forks.

Our standard titanium hose fittings work directly with kevlar hose and remain fully reusable, with no olives or consumable parts required.

The larger internal bore of kevlar hose slightly reduces hydraulic resistance, contributing to a lighter lever feel. Due to the hose construction, expansion is typically around 10–20% higher than our stainless braided hose, resulting in a slightly softer overall lever feel.

Specific hoses including Shimano BH90 and the Trickstuff Beta Kevlar Hose have been tested and provide the best results. We’ll also have our own high oressure kevlar hose option available on the website shortly.

Our caliper pistons are threaded for ease of servicing. The piston service tool is designed in a way to make your life easier by really allowing you to pull out those stubborn pistons. Something that can be quite tricky using alternative methods.

Prototype testing in progress.

We’ve been developing a new breakaway lever feature aimed at improving crash survivability while retaining the same lever ergonomics and feel riders are already familiar with.

The system is designed to help isolate impact loads during a crash, reducing the likelihood of damage to the lever blades — while remaining fully retrofit-compatible with existing Bite Point edition master cylinders.

Still early in development and there’s refinement to go, but the initial testing has been promising.

More testing to come.

We’ve expanded our Heavy Duty Brake Disc range with a new 180mm option.

Our rotor design uses smaller, precisely placed slots to maintain mass and stiffness, while effectively clearing water, dust, and gases from the pad surface.

Larger cut-outs may look aggressive, but they reduce thermal mass and can introduce vibration under load. We’ve taken a different approach.

Our Titanium mounting kit allows you to shim the caliper to the perfect height of the rotor. The included washers account for the increase in diameter of 3mm, as well as some additional wiggle room for clearance, if required. This is perfect when going from a 200mm to 203mm or 220mm to 223mm rotor.
