Wow what a few years it has been, my main job is now in education as a primary school teacher.. between study. The grief of losing my dad John and my first year as a bt life has been blessed and busy.

Something has been missing though and its my ability to create and bring comfort to others. I always knew my jewellery was precious but I truly couldn't comprehend how precious until I lost my dad.

When your loved ones remains come to me they are treated as if they were my loved one too. For myself it is a very spiritual process that involves karakia, learning about your loved one and bringing healing to those who most need it.

I can remember laying on m father's bed after he passed away in fetal position and the noises that rose out of me were like an animal, so raw and so much pain. Nearly 5 years and that heaviness, that raw grief has away of finding me when I least expect it. Having something tactile with my dad's remains centre's me and keeps me close to his calm energy. A gift I never knew i gave to others until I had to wear my own Soul Keepsakes NZ
