Much appreciation to Designer ben. Despite a personal crisis at home, he was still able to give me 2 outfits.

To honour his great effort, here is the description of my piece. Here we are representing Malaysia in Tokyo:

Dr. Dianne Tsen is wearing an exquisite ensemble by Sarawakian designer Ben NAZRY, inspired by the regal heritage of Sarawak Malay culture from the island of Borneo, Malaysia. This look celebrates the timeless artistry of keringkam, a treasured textile tradition famed for its delicate gauze and intricate hand embroidery.
Draped elegantly over her head is a radiant red and gold keringkam, meticulously embroidered with shimmering gold thread. Each motif is patiently stitched by hand, a labour of devotion that can take weeks, sometimes months, to complete.
In the courts of old Sarawak, keringkam was worn by ladies of the royal household and aristocratic Malay families during royal ceremonies, weddings, and grand celebrations. Its luminous threads symbolised refinement, dignity, and quiet prestige.
Tonight, through the vision of Ben NAZRY, this ensemble carries the romance and splendour of Sarawak across continents - from the forests and rivers of Borneo to the lights of Tokyo - reflecting the Spirit of Harmony, where heritage, creativity, and culture come together to shape a shared future.

Such an honour representing in Tokyo at the Fashion Runway of the 5th AICI Asia Conference. Thank you to AICI Tokyo Chapter for this lovely experience.

It is always a profound privilege when fashion becomes more than attire, but a living expression of culture, history, and identity. Opportunities like the Tokyo conference remind us that heritage clothing also serves as , quietly telling the story of our people, artistry, and traditions to the world. I am deeply grateful to have had the chance to represent Sarawak and Malaysia in such a meaningful and elegant way.

Yesterday, I visited ☕ Koffee Mameya Omotessando, and it reminded me that the strongest💪 brands need not say much. Sometimes they say nothing at all but have the loudest impact.

No signboard.
No obvious storefront.
Just a quiet space with a bar, a few seats, and a queue waiting outside.

People do not simply walk in. They arrive because someone told them about it, or because social media made them curious enough to seek it out.

What alchemy is this?!! .🪄

It was a busy and fulfilling day🌞 . Straight after enjoying a wonderful time with our NAWEM ladies, I attended the Annual General Meeting, where I had the honour of serving as Nominations Chair.

I love❤️ these gatherings.

For me, AICI has always represented more than a professional association. It is a community that upholds standards, encourages excellence, and reminds us that image consulting is a serious and impactful profession.

Certification🏆 plays an important role in this journey, as it reflects our commitment to credibility, ethics, and ongoing professional development.

I always leave AICI gatherings feeling inspired by the dedication of my image sisters who care deeply about elevating our industry.
