Note that, whenever your service provider (MTN, GLO, AIRTEL) resells the old line, you will be shocked to hear that their customer who bought your old line, will be receiving your Alert.

Same way they pick your calls sometimes. This is a loophole that is yet to be resolved.

And as soon as the person receives your alert, they will activate the USSD online banking code and transfer all your money from your account or they will use your money to buy airtime which is easier without your knowledge.

What do you do then?

If you loose the phone number linked to your bank account, first thing you should do it block the line.

If you don't retrieve and then go to change your phone number in the bank, tell your bank you lost sim.
