But the ones who really have suffered the most are the most vulnerable, including the blind. This page is grown from admiration of my blind friend and teacher, P, who has knit the 10 lovely beanies you see on the cover page. When I first saw what she created, I was amazed. P is totally blind, having lost her sight as a result of an illness. "To me, it is easier for a blind person to knit than a si

ghted person because I am using touch but a sighted person has to use sight." P also suffers various other illnesses but her entire demeanour is one of vibrant life. hope and faith in God. That to me is powerful.
