Our Remaja Tournament concluded yesterday, and despite the many obstacles we faced throughout our preparation this year — including injuries to several of our medal prospects, examination commitments, and other challenges — we still managed to emerge as Overall 2nd Place.

This year, we fielded a relatively young and new team, but despite their lack of experience, the athletes gave their very best and showed tremendous fighting spirit throughout the tournament.

We take this year as a valuable learning and building process. The exposure and experience gained will only make this team stronger, more confident, and better prepared for the future.

With proper preparation and continued development, we are confident that this team will come back even stronger next year.

Thank you once again to all GMs, Masters, coaches, parents, and supporters for the continuous guidance and support shown to the team.

TKL Remaja Team Attire Handover Ceremony

What was supposed to be a perfect handover ceremony quickly turned into chaos.

First, the blackout hit our venue.
Then we had to move everything outside to the park.
And just when we thought things could not get any tougher — the rain came pouring down.

But if there’s one thing about TKL…
WE DON’T STOP.

No excuses.
No complaints.
No backing down.

We adapted. We pushed through. We made it happen.

Because at TKL, we don’t believe in “cannot.”
No matter the situation, no matter the challenge — we find a way and we deliver.

Rain or shine, blackout or not…
TKL spirit stands strong.

THAT is what makes us different.
THAT is what makes us family.
THAT is TKL.

We were honoured to have a brief meeting today with Grand Master Dhanaraj Rassiah.

During this meaningful session, Taekwondo Kuala Lumpur (TKL) had the privilege of presenting him with the TKL Honorary Athlete Jacket, along with a small token of appreciation.

This gesture reflects our sincere gratitude for his outstanding contributions, leadership, and continuous guidance towards the development of Taekwondo Malaysia and the sport nationwide.

The KL Open 2025 has officially come to a close last weekend. Karnival Bakat Olimpik Kebangsaan Seri 1/25

Despite missing 11 of our first-liners, this time we fielded a team made up mostly of second- and third-line athletes.

We are proud to share that the team performed exceptionally well — we had 11 finalists, securing 5 gold medals, and finished 2nd overall, just behind the host team Terengganu, by a margin of one gold medal.

Proud President .theraman Taekwondo Kuala Lumpur emerged Overall Champions at the 14th TM KBS MILO National Junior Taekwondo Championships held in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

TKL with a team of 120 athletes won a total of 41 medals in Kyorugi, Poomsae and Virtual Taekwondo of which 16 are GOLD medals.

Well done to all the athletes and coaches!
