Behind the scenes of a recent pilot run.

This is “Lagoon Blue” from our leather catalogue — embossed cowhide, tested on a small batch before full production.

Design: minimalist folded card holder (can double as a slim wallet).

Every project starts like this — sampling, refining, getting the details right before scaling.

Meet a leather that’s all about texture over shine.

This is a natural milled full grain leather with a soft, matte surface — no heavy coating, no artificial gloss. What you feel is real:
smooth, velvety, slightly powdery to the touch.

The colour sits in a very unique space — a deep dark brown base with subtle grey and green undertones. Under different lighting, it shifts slightly, giving it that quiet, earthy richness that feels both rugged and refined.

The grain is naturally pebbled and drum-milled, creating an organic, rugged character — not overly perfect, not overly polished. Each piece carries its own variation, which is exactly what makes it feel premium.

Because of its natural finish, it will mark and age over time — developing a patina that reflects how it’s used. This isn’t leather that stays untouched — it evolves.

Leather terminology can be confusing — even within the industry.

Here’s how we explain it clearly 👇

You’ll often see us use “genuine leather (top grain / full grain)”.

Technically, “genuine leather” is considered a lower grade. But in today’s market, most people understand it as real animal leather (not PU or synthetic).

Also, while leather grading terms are defined, how they’re used can vary across regions — in some markets “genuine leather” means low grade, in others it simply means real leather.

So we use both:
✔ “Genuine leather” — for general understanding
✔ “Top grain / Full grain” — for accurate grading

Full Grain Leather
Pros: highest fiber strength, develops patina, unique character
Cons: scratches more easily, less uniform, higher cost

Top Grain Leather
Pros: more uniform finish, better scratch resistance, easier consistency
Cons: less natural character, reduced patina, depends on finishing

PU Leather
Pros: affordable, consistent, lightweight
Cons: shorter lifespan, may crack/peel, no patina

Bio-Based Leather
Pros: more sustainable direction, improving durability, innovative
Cons: varies in quality, higher cost, often partially synthetic

Bonded Leather
Made from scraps + glue with synthetic coating.
We do not use bonded leather due to low durability.

There is no “best leather” — only the right material for the right product.

A little behind-the-scenes of one of our more challenging projects 👀 First of all — thank you to our client for allowing us to share this 🙏 We always make sure to get permission before posting any client work.

This was a small pilot batch, but each piece required a significant amount of handwork.

• Every rhinestone was applied one by one using heat bonding
(we avoided glue to ensure a cleaner finish and better long-term durability)

• Constructed with a lightweight reinforced wood-core structure
to achieve a true hard trunk form without excessive weight

• Finished with full vegetable-tanned calfskin and vintage brassy gold hardware

We did explore a few colour variations, but both us and our client agreed —
the natural n**e vegetable-tanned leather with gold accents is our favourite 🤍

Part of our best-selling croc embossed series, this piece is crafted from full grain calfskin (our highest grade). It features a hand-finished patina with rich tonal variation flowing through the bamboo-style croc emboss. The highlighted veins and subtle marbling create a layered, almost liquid depth — making every panel visually unique.

Most of our croc embossed series is top grain, but selected pieces like this are full grain — the top of the top quality, and we always state it clearly.

This is one of our latest OEM pieces, shared with client’s permission 🤝
Crafted using a deep burgundy lambskin, featuring a soft padded “cloud” construction — we use internal padding (polyester fiberfill) to achieve that plush, puffy structure.

Finished with a custom enamel logo charm ✨
For custom metal hardware like this, a one-time molding fee is required to create your unique design. After that, production is calculated per unit, with MOQ typically starting from 100 pieces.
