As much as we do not have any influence on the political systems which rule the producing countries in which we operate (non ingerence), we actively contribute to the establishment of peaceful relationships within our gemstones mining ecosytems.

By 'peace' we are referring to the concrete actions we take in securing mechanisms of respect (beliefs and traditions).

We foster the inclusion of gems/gold communities members who would like to take part in their neighboring mining ecosystems.

This inclusion process is associated with legal mining citizenships which allow miners to operate legally and/or within a legal framework.

Coming from a Western environment can sometimes be a challenge in the establishment of rules and regulations as Western normative systems differ from the ones applicable within the gems and gold producing Nations.

However, the bottom line here is about not imposing the model from which we are coming from. It is more about providing a blend of measures tailored to regional communities realities.

Peace is not only the absence of war, it is about social cohesion between communities members within their mineral rich ecosystems.

Quality education occupies a central place in our Pan-African gemstones and gold mining ecosystems.

By education, we are refering to a bespoke mining educational system which aims at fostering miners' safety, health and economic resilience.

Each gemstone ecosystem has different needs.

It is with that in mind that we adopt a tailored approach which meets our ASM communities' specificities.

We focus on the youth' mining education with the aim of creating tomorrow's mining leaders.

As education is not only about building schools and getting grades, we truly believe that practical trainings should impact all mining generations, genders and extractive functions that are present in our gemstones/gold mining ecosystems.

As kids (0 to 14 years old) do not work in our mines, our kids educational activities are tailored to create awareness about the ASM potential within regional living and mining ecosystems.

Then the youth can decide in the future whether or not they would like to follow a mining path or...not

Mining citizenships are only possible by training and by choice...
