You said you loved me.
I believed you.
That was my mistake.

Turns out,
you loved the way I loved you
the attention,
the forgiveness,
the comfort of knowing
I’d still be there.

You didn’t break my heart.
You just showed me
it was never safe with you.

I don’t hate you.
That would require caring.

Now when I think of us,
I feel nothing.

You can keep your memories.
I buried mine.

Some people leave scars.
You left a lesson
I’ll never romanticize again.

You will reap what you sow in this life.

God alone is the Judge of every sin, every wound, every tear, and every hidden intention in this universe. You can say, “God has me. God knows my heart,” but God also knows what your heart chose to do to others when no one was watching.

What you have done will not simply disappear because you ask for forgiveness. Yes, God forgives. But forgiveness does not mean there are no consequences. Mercy does not erase accountability.

Every deception, every calculated wound, every attempt to destroy another person’s life has been seen. Nothing is hidden from the One who sees everything.

What you have done with a deceitful heart will find its way back to you perhaps not today, perhaps not tomorrow, but in ways you may never expect. And when that day comes, I pray you have the strength to endure the weight of what you once placed upon others.

I pray for you.
I pray for your family.
Not because I have forgotten.

But because the pain and trauma you and your family caused my beautiful children are wounds I will never pretend did not happen.

Some things may be forgiven.

But they are never forgotten by the One who witnessed them all.

And in the end, we all stand before the same Judge.

May you be strong when the seeds you planted finally bloom.

“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.” — Romans 12:19

Sometimes you don’t need to defend yourself.
You don’t need to prove your worth.
You don’t need to fight every battle or respond to every accusation.

Let God handle what you cannot.

People may misunderstand you, hurt you, betray you, or treat you unfairly. But revenge will only keep you connected to the very thing God is trying to free you from.

Walk away. Stay silent when silence brings peace. Keep your heart clean. Keep moving forward.

What is hidden from people is never hidden from God.

You don’t have to make them pay.
God sees. God knows. And God will handle it in His time. 🙏🏽

Forgiveness is for those who have wronged you.
So, you can’t forgive an offense that never happened.

But you can release the resentment that weighs on your heart.
Peace is for letting go of those who simply failed your selfish expectations.

What you don’t realize is that a narc is secretly planning your destruction at the same time are telling you that you are the love of their life.

When they were love bombing you, they took you out on dates, took you shopping, and spent most of their time with you no matter what you were doing… BUT love bombing will only last for a little while as they don’t intend to keep doing it forever.

They are fully aware that everything they start will surely end so they are always working in the background against you while seemingly interested in you to your face.

When you start to see them for who they really are, they will provoke arguments and start recording your reactions only after they started the argument. They will record you when your sad, angry, tired or frustrated. You need to pay attention to these times as well because the narc will act calm, reframe from saying anything that makes them look bad while they record you. They do this because they've spent your entire relationship lying to co- workers, friends, family, landlords, police, your children's schools and staff and neighbors about you. You're crazy, mean, on drugs, abusive, you cheat, you're lazy, a gold digger, you're the reason they are broke dicks, a bad wife/husband, lack of communication, a bad mother/father, you're an idiot, a w***e and whatever else they can possibly think to say about you… so I'm order to prove what they went around and said about you, they provoke you, but only record your reactions so that you do seem crazy and mean…

The disgusting part about it is that the narc actually enjoys watching you fall apart. It is their goal to destroy you when they are getting ready for your discard. And what I mean by that, is that they will do everything in their power to get themselves out of everything they did to you. So not only did they victimize you throughout your entire relationship, they victimize you even more by making you out to be the bad guy for the things that they did. They don't just record you, they also put hidden cameras up around the house to watch you in hopes they will catch you doing something wrong.

If you always have negative things to say others, quickly blaming others and deflecting fault is a hallmark of emotional immaturity.

It often serves as a psychological defense mechanism to protect a fragile ego, avoid the discomfort of accountability, and mask deeper insecurities or shame.

Why It Happens
Ego Protection: Admitting fault can feel like a direct threat to self-worth for someone who is immature, making shifting the blame an easier alternative.

Avoidance of Inner Work: Blaming allows individuals to bypass the necessary self reflection required to grow and change their behavior.

Poor Emotional Regulation: Emotionally immature individuals often struggle to process serious emotions, leading to impulsive and reactive finger pointing.

With you, there is always something.

No matter what I do, it is never enough.
One complaint turns into another until I can’t even breathe.

I don’t recognize myself anymore.

You complain about the life you chose and place blame everywhere except where it belongs.
You take no responsibility for your part.

I’m done explaining my feelings.
I’m choosing to walk away.
