Acceptance is the beginning of healing.
Accepting what is no longer possible.
Accepting things that have turned negative.
Accepting what can never be fixed again.
Accepting love that no longer exists.
Accepting that good results may never come.
When the mind is ready to accept, the heart often resists.
The effort we invested, the attachments we formed, and the time we spent can create an illusion that things will get better. But that illusion brings no real benefit and cannot heal a wounded soul.
Rather than clinging to hope about what we are trying to become, accepting the negative reality of what is actually happening now is a wiser form of awareness. Only by accepting can we move forward. In life, we must understand that there are many things that are simply no longer possible.
Stubbornness does not bring good results in every situation. Without awareness and mindfulness, stubbornness can cause pain again and again.
