Role Description,
This is a part-time remote role for a Jewelry CAD Designer. The designer's responsibilities include creating detailed and precise computer-aided designs for custom jewelry pieces, developing technical drawings, and producing construction drawings to guide manufacturing. The role requires close collaboration with clients and team members to ensure designs meet specifications and aesthetic preferences while maintaining structural integrity.
Qualifications,
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Technical Drawing for creating intricate 3D jewelry designs.
Experience with jewelry CAD tools (Rhino, Matrix, Zbrush or similar).
Experience with Construction Drawings and Design Engineering to ensure high levels of detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
Strong visualization and Drawing skills to conceptualize and refine designs creatively and artistically.
Strong attention to detail, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Knowledge of gemstones and jewelry manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
Formal training in Jewelry Design, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
