Kogin de Jewel® 10th Anniversary

この10年間
たくさんの方々のお力をお借りしながら
色々なアイテムを試行錯誤して作り出して参りました。

この名刺入れは、こぎん刺しの大作とはかけ離れた物ではありますが、この10年間でどれだけ多くの方の手にお届け出来たでしょう。

「ぱっと見、表面は普通の黒革で、開いたら真っ赤なこぎん刺しの名刺入れって作れないの？そんなのあったら欲しいけど」と言う無茶振りをいとも簡単に投げかけられたあの日😓

無理です!と即答した私。

なぜならその頃私は、自分の思い描く物を形にしてくれる革職人探しに翻弄されていた日々の真っ最中。
みんな、理想を簡単に口にするけれど、それをこちらのイメージ通りに形にしてくれる職人に出会えない😭

革の色、質、収納量、期限を確実に守ってくれる人か、クオリティは確かなものか、発注が大量にあった場合対応出来るのか...
それはこぎん刺し作家にも言えて...

ビジネスパートナーとしての責任もなくては作品を生み出すことは出来ません。

その無茶振りから、革職人を自分で探し続けること数ヶ月。

ひろさき桜まつり
4月10日本日より、いよいよ開催となります。
店内に飾った弘前公園の枝垂れ桜の剪定枝が丁度本日開花しました。

この時期に間に合うように制作した
桜を思わせる名刺(カード)入れは、弘前を感じ、日本を感じ、思い入れの深いアイテムとなることでしょう。
グラデーションの糸で奥深さが感じられる唯一無二の色合わせとなっております。
