As he puts it-

'The Hare's Paw, a great auld reel, was played in the session here last night, on the Antrim Road in Belfast, which put me in mind of John McKenna's unusual 78 record version of it 'The Corry Boys'.
Here's a quick lash of it, after McKenna's version, including the unusual phrasing he did in the first part that makes it sound a bit dog-leggéd.

Back to the big shed in Sligo now after my travels & full flute steam ahead!

The Indian Bansuri flute was always my first love. The sublime energy and sound always stopped me in my tracks. I've just spent some time again in India and reconnected with it's magic. I have a ridiculous collection of these Bamboo flutes from over several visits to India. A short diversion right now to Japan with it's mesmerising Shakuhachi flute and then back to the chilly wetlands of Sligo. Thanks to all for their patience X
