💜It’s May! Iris flowers are arriving soon! 💜
Up until now, we have never made any items with an iris flower theme because our artist had never seen them up close. (Still hasn’t. Waiting to see the real thing later this month) Irises usually grow in a pond, a little bit further away from the walking path, so it’s hard to get a good look.
However, because a good friend of hers said that she really wanted a pair of iris earrings, our artist took a leap of faith and gave it a try anyway.
The first attempt was mostly to figure out if the structure was strong enough. The second attempt (The one in the picture) incorporated some colors. It still feels not quite right yet, but there is still time to make improved versions of them, while also trying to restock other popular items before design festa.
Having loving friends really helps with creativity, doesn’t it?
Friends believe in you, even when you don’t believe in yourself. They also celebrate your success, even if it’s a small win that you yourself just dismiss. I wouldn’t have been able to come this far without the support of kind people around me. Thank you! 🙏
