About the incense included with the kimono product:

Each kimono product includes a small incense envelope.
Silk Kimono products travel long distances from Japan,
and to make sure no insects harm the silk kimono product I include incense that has a repellent effect. It is made from cloves, sandalwood, cinnamon and camphor etc.
Combinations such as this have been used for over a thousand years in Japan as traditional fragrances and insect repellent.
The practice is said to have started in Japan in the 6th century, and it became a cultural tradition like tea ceremony and flower arranging.

If you don’t like the fragrance you can simply hang the bag in a shaded place for a few days and the fragrance will disappear.

Akoya pearl ring with solid K14 ring and K18 chain

The frill-like tale has a perfect curve that fits on your finger, and the K18 chain moves when you move, adding a sparkle. Because of its asymmetry the ring looks different from different angles, and you will never get tired of looking at it.

The kimono bag was invented about two to three hundred years ago during the Edo Period.
The design of the bag is based on the standard proportions of a kimono roll.

Red coral has a large color range, from dark red to bright red (orangish).
I have had several customers ask me “how red is it?” about red coral jewelry.
Color is an important factor in choosing red coral jewelry, but it is very difficult to specify in words. “Brightness,” for example dark red to bright red, is not the only way to explain variations of the color red. There is also saturation and the involvement of other colors. Furthermore, coral beads sometimes have natural imperfections such as small holes, and black inclusions such as rocks or sand that coral incorporates as it grows. These also affect the overall color of the beads.

This color sample photo was created based mainly on the coral necklaces sold in my shop. The necklace on the bottom is the darkest red in my shop and of top quality. The top strand is the brightest red in my shop.

Japan is famous for Akoya saltwater pearls, but also produces high quality freshwater pearls.

The freshwater pearls of this necklace have very good luster, similar to Akoya pearls.
A necklace of Akoya pearls of the same size would be 10 times more expensive, and freshwater pearls are generally more durable than cultured saltwater pearls.

A necklace of good round freshwater pearls is difficult to distinguish from an Akoya pearl necklace.

Japan now has its first female prime minister, Sanae Takaichi, who was wearing a necklace of large freshwater pearls when she accepted her election as prime minister, so freshwater pearl necklaces are now attracting attention.
