It took time but I managed to make a luminescent material which in terms of color and UV durability has the same characteristics as radio tritium but is not harmful or radioactive. The material is not luminova or superluminova. Many customers asked me for this and today I can also provide this new type of service.———————————

Conservative restoration, whether of the lume, the dial back if it has defects, or both, must aim to maintain the highest level of authenticity. Therefore, for the lume, depending on the period, the dial manufacturer, and the watch brand, the same materials used by the manufacturers must be used. Taking into account the natural decay of the luminous material and its reaction to light and UV stress, tritium and other oxides are the main materials used. Each defect, even if similar, often has different origins, and each individual case must be interpreted. This depends, for example, on the condition and type of watch, to achieve a homogeneous, credible, and beautiful result. At the heart of everything is the compromise between the starting conditions, defects, aesthetic improvement, and authenticity. The best conservative restoration is the one that cannot be seen. And one must always choose to maintain the highest percentage of the dial’s originality. This is my vision, a philosophy in approaching a restoration that I always discuss and share with those who, trusting me, entrust me with a valuable object
