I am also a certified jewellery designer and gemologist. FashionFundey came into existence because of three incredible women in my life - my daughter, my mother, and my mother-in-law. They played an integral role in not only helping me start my business but also in empowering women through the vision of my brand. In 2014, a beautiful event took place that changed my life forever – the birth of my

daughter. This pivotal moment ignited a powerful purpose within me – to be a role model of a financially independent woman for her. I wanted to show her that it is indeed possible for a woman to have it all - a loving family and a thriving business. My mom is a force of nature 😊. She persistently pushed and pushed till I relented and finally started my business. And my mother-in-law, generously provided me with financial backing. She gave me the seed money to kickstart FashionFundey. Every day I am so grateful to these three women who became the foundation of FashionFundey. To help me create a brand that goes beyond just jewellery – a brand that empowers women and celebrates their happiness. I vividly remember a statement casually made by one of my elders long back, that ‘you buy jewellery when there is a happy occasion like wedding, milestone, function in family or festival’. The statement left a lasting impression and resonated so well. I started equating Jewellery = Happiness. So, when the time came to decide what to sell, the answer came easy- Jewellery! What started as to inspire my daughter has become a platform to serve and help as many women I can with jewellery pieces- that are both affordable & premium-by making them look pretty, feel happy and safe when they step out. As the founder of FashionFundey, each day is now filled with joy, knowing that I am making a positive impact on the lives of women. The heartfelt feedback and appreciation from our customers are the highlights of my day – a testament to the power of jewellery in boosting self-confidence and spreading happiness.
