In a city built on Awadhi craft, that inspiration found its highest form — the ceremonial Mukut adorning Lord Rama and Goddess Sita at Janki Mandir, Ayodhya, for the Ram Vivah.

Now that sacred language enters silver. A collection called Janki, woven from the Ramayana, told through handblown glass and 92.5 sterling silver.

Two ancient crafts. One contemporary language.

Urvi Bansal Atelier has been featured in The Architect's Diary 40 Under 40 — a celebration of designers expanding the boundaries of contemporary Indian design, in their May 2026 print edition.

The feature honors the commission that means the most to us: the 22-karat gold mukuts and body ornamentation we designed and crafted for the sacred Ram Vivah ceremony at Janki Mahal Temple, Ayodhya.

Every element carries a chapter of the Ramayana — a radiant sun and shankh for Lord Rama's Suryavanshi lineage, the peacock for Goddess Sita's grace — researched over months before a single sheet of gold was touched.
Some projects are work. This one was devotion.
