WHO’S BEHIND EVYAR?
That’s me
Years ago
The woman in the car, and yes, that’s my first jeweler’s bench riding home on the roof.
Long before EVYAR looked like it does today
there was me, a lot of ideas, a lot of dreams,
and a jeweler’s bench tied to the roof of my car.
I didn’t really know where all of this would take me.
I just knew I wanted to make things with my hands.
Things I would want to wear
Things that felt like me
Over the years I learned gold, stones, design, craftsmanship
I learned what works and what doesn’t.
I changed, started again, made mistakes, trusted myself more, and slowly built EVYAR into what it is today
But behind the gold, the photographs and the finished pieces,
it’s still me
Still curious
Still creating
Still getting excited when an idea in my head becomes something real.
And that jeweler’s bench on top of the car?
I still have it
I still work at that very same bench today.
The necklace in the picture is One of the first pieces I ever designed
🤍my final project at jewelry school, before I had even started working with gold. This piece was later exhibited at the Ilana Goor Museum in Jaffa
מי עומדת מאחורי אבייר
זאת אני
לפני כמה שנים
באוטו, עם שולחן הצורפות הראשון שלי קשור לגג.
עוד לפני ש EVYAR נראה כמו שהוא נראה היום, הייתי אני, עם הרבה רעיונות, הרבה חלומות, ושולחן צורפות אחד שעשה איתי את הדרך הביתה.
לא באמת ידעתי לאן כל זה יוביל אותי.
רק ידעתי שאני רוצה ליצור בידיים שלי.
דברים שאני ארצה לענוד.
דברים שירגישו כמוני.
עם השנים למדתי זהב, אבנים, עיצוב וצורפות.
למדתי מה עובד ומה לא.
השתניתי. התחלתי מחדש. טעיתי. למדתי לסמוך על עצמי קצת יותר.
ולאט לאט בניתי את EVYAR למה שהוא היום.
אבל מאחורי הזהב, התמונות והתכשיטים המוגמרים,
אני עדיין אותה אני.
עדיין סקרנית.
עדיין יוצרת.
ועדיין מתרגשת מהרגע שבו משהו שהיה עד עכשיו רק בראש שלי הופך לדבר אמיתי.
והשולחן הזה, שעל גג האוטו?
הוא עדיין כאן.
ואני עדיין יושבת לידו ויוצרת, עד היום.
והשרשרת בתמונה? אחד התכשיטים הראשונים שעיצבתי. פרויקט הגמר שלי בלימודי הצורפות, עוד לפני שבכלל התחלתי לעבוד עם זהב התכשיט הזה הוצג בהמשך במוזיאון אילנה גור ביפו 🤍
