When was the last time something made you stop and ask why?
Why the sky turns violet over the water at dusk. Why the ocean pulls back before a wave rises. Why you wanted a life that looked different from the one you were handed.
Curiosity is often the first freedom we have, and the first one we are asked to give up. It becomes easier to know than to wonder. The questions get quieter.
But the women who seem most alive to me kept that first question open. They take the class nobody asked them to take. They walk into a room as beginners and say "tell me more". They change their minds when they learn something new, and they are proud of it.
I wrote this essay for the woman in Miami who keeps looking up, and for every woman who is not finished wondering. The Stellar pieces were born from that same feeling: the smallest cell and the largest galaxy, repeating the same patterns.
So tell me, what are you curious about right now? I would love to hear it in the comments.
