Rosen tailored his teaching methods to adult learners, creating a multi-stage curriculum, which was adopted by the Hebrew University's language department. Rosen is known for his breakthrough Hebrew-learning books, which are still recognized as definitive Hebrew tuition texts for adult students. His exemplary curriculum, taught throughout Israel and the world, is considered one of the pillars of Hebrew-language teaching. Learn Hebrew anytime, anywhere; at the Rosen School of Hebrew, students can learn at their own pace. Do you speak Hebrew? Let’s start with the most important verb! 🗣️
לְדַבֵּר (ledaber) means “to speak,” and in the present tense it changes depending on who’s speaking:
👉 מְדַבֵּר (medaber): he speaks
👉 מְדַבֶּרֶת (medaberet): she speaks
👉 מְדַבְּרִים (medabrim): they speak (m.)
👉 מְדַבְּרוֹת (medabrot): they speak (f.)
Fun fact: in Hebrew, a mixed group uses מְדַבְּרִים, even if there’s only one man! 😉
Try it in the comments: אֲנִי מְדַבֵּר / מְדַבֶּרֶת עִבְרִית (Ani medaber / medaberet ivrit), “I speak Hebrew” 👇
