One of the things that fascinates me in my work is the actual “process” itself. I love to see how everything comes together. How matter changes shape, how materials connect and how what I imagined, turns into something tangible and new. I love materials that tell a story. Materials with an interesting texture have a story to tell and this makes me curious. I see how materials are connecting all the time, combinations are endless. Its exciting to witness new material-to-material contact and behavior.
I'm Ofra Lerner, a Creator, Jeweler and Designer of Jewelry. Married to Hagai and a Mother to three children.Jewelry design is something that has always intrigued and fascinated me. As a former graphic designer, with many years in front of a screen, I wanted to make my dream come true. I started my business because I wanted to work with material, use my hands on a daily basis to give meaning to the materials, through the jewelry.Today Graphic design is an inspiration to me - an important part of my jewelry. Shapes, typography and geometric cuts are my everyday tools. I am drawn both to urban, neat, precision and also to everything that nature represents - colors, sensations and amorphous, inaccurate forms.My designs are a combination of both sides of the spectrum. When my clients, both women and men, wear a piece of jewelry I have created, this makes me feel very grateful and complete.
