A moment for these flowers how absolutely stunning are they?! you smashed it!!

Katie wanted the cake to make a statement and by god these flowers achieved it!

Did you know each stem is attached to a mini wooden skewer and taped up then applied to the cake all making it food safe, I was easily two hours attaching the flowers to the cake at the venue in and it was worth every second!!

I love how it turned out ✨

I’ve taken some time away from here over this past while, a few words why.

This week was the hardest week of my life. My dearest dad and my biggest cheerleader took his last breath surrounded by the people who love him the most. The depth of loss is incomprehensible as is his legacy.

I usually don’t share a lot of my personal life but it doesn’t feel right not to give him the tribute he deserves.

For those who know me, you’ll know how close we were, how supportive he was and how lucky we were to have him. Above all else to me, he was the most incredible dad and grandad to my boys.

He was invested in every cake I created, always wanting to see the final product and know about the couple or place it was going to. Running my cake business from home meant I had so much time with him which I’m eternally grateful for.

I’m taking things moment by moment and day by day. If I’m slow to get back to emails please bear with me I’ll get back into a new normal, I’m sure.
I do love my work and creating beautiful cakes that will become cherished family moments.

Hold your loved ones near we simply never have enough time xx
