We're looking back to the World Whiskies Awards Global Dinner held in March, where we asked some of our wonderful winners what they love about working in the whisky industry.

Back in March we held the World Whiskies Awards Global Dinner in London, where we crowned the best of the industry. The Distillers One of One helped us to celebrate the occasion, with Beanie Espey, managing director, presenting an award on the evening.

Whisky Magazine is the official media partner for the Distillers One of One charity auctions, which in 2025 raised £2.3 million for charity.

Thank you to Distillers One of One for your continued partnership. We look forward to seeing what is in store for Distillers One of One 2027, and to continue our collaboration with you on this meaningful, charitable endeavour.

We are proud to announce a new inductees into the Hall of Fame.

Please join us in celebrating the latest inductions into the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame, inductee number 110: Serge Valentin Whisky Fun & 111: Tadashi Sakuma, Nikka Whisky.

Serge Valentin is a passionate and self-taught whisky enthusiast. His blog Whisky Fun, launched in 2002, has become a beloved reference for newcomers and professionals around the whisky world and considered by many as an institution.

Tadashi Sakuma joined Nikka Whisky in 1982 and has become an integral part of the brand’s success and identity. His honest and unpretentious character with relaxed energy
has made him hugely popular among his peers and whisky lovers.

Their outstanding contributions, dedication and influence have helped shape the world of whiskey. Their achievements represent the highest standards in the industry.
