Today is about celebrating Mammies ♥️

Here is a little homage to my Mammy ♥️

Mammy was a dress maker and she made this dress for me for my secondary school grad. She was a huge influence to me, her love of art and jewellery and her love of fashion.

I love going to fashion exhibitions and collecting fashion illustrations. I thought it was only right to include one of Mammy's designs in my collection ♥️

A lady got in touch before Christmas and asked if I could do a painting from an old photograph. Her and her family wanted to surprise her husband with this special gift for Christmas.

This shop was his daddy's shop in Cork. ❤️

Myself and my wonderful Tullamore Art class are delighted to have raised €3237 from the sale of our "Art for the Soul" calendars. All the money raised was donated to Accessible Counselling Tullamore

This piece inspired from the Arctic Monkeys catchy take on John Cooper Clarke's iconic poem 'I Wanna be yours'

I sketched the everyday items in the song/ poem ✏️

I think it's a great alternative love song, a perfect gift for Valentine's Day that's not too soppy 🤣❤️ or for the music lover in your life.
