I watched the film about Donal Lunny 'In Time' last night on RTE. It's a wonderful film about Donal's influence and unique contributions to Irish culture and music.

I had the pleasure of meeting him and painting his portrait a few years ago.

Drawing Darú
Exploring the Book of Durrow through Art.

I'm delighted to share this lovely project with you. I ran 8 workshops with the ladies from Tullamore Women's Shed where we looked at the beautiful artwork in the Book of Durrow.

The ladies created a beautiful collection of drawings, paintings, needlework, a beautiful cloak and their own book.

The exhibition opens on Saturday the 15th of August at 12pm and runs until the 30th of August in Esker Arts
