I went away last week for a 'work trip' 3 days in London. Here are a few photos from the trip.

We packed a lot into the 3 days 🎨

👗We went to the V&A storehouse. I had booked to see 5 items. This was great fun. They gave us gloves and we could examine the items. Very exciting!
🎶They also have a David Bowie exhibition, which was great.
👗We visited the Schiaparelli exhibition in the V&A. This was also wonderful. She took her inspiration from art. There was pieces from Dali, Picasso and Man Ray
📽️ next we visited the Design Museum where the Wes Anderson exhibition was. This was very cool. There were story boards, outfits and the little figures from Fantastic Mr fox and the Isle of Dogs
👜 We visited the Louis Vuitton pop up Hotel.
🌸 We went to Chelsea in Bloom. The shops around had flower displays for the Chelsea flower show.
🎨 We went to the portrait gallery to see the new Lily Allen portrait and lots of other paintings.
🎨We visited the new Bansky piece that appeared a few weeks ago
🎨 We went to the national gallery and explored their collection

'The rarest hour"

I finished this painting a few weeks ago. I started it about 3 years ago 😂 I kept having to leave it to do other pieces but I was determined to get it finished this year 📝

It's inspired by a photo that Cathal took when we were in Enniscrone a few years ago. I added more oranges, burnt umbers and blues to match the sitting room.

It's a bit different to what I usually paint but I really enjoyed painting it 🎨

Week three 🎨

We are learning so much about the history of the Book of Durrow.

I'm very excited about the pieces the ladies are working on 🤗

Ireland heritage
