Padjadjaran International Conference on Psychology International Conference on Psychology Series of natural disasters were still haunted the world at the time the conference was prepared.

Their impacts on the physical and psychological problems were reported time to time. It was assumed that global climate change was the cause of these unfortunate events. Researches revealed that the less concerned human behavior to nature was the core of the changes. The volatility of nature inspired action towards changes. It is a calling for psychologists to make changes, for the sake of better

conditions, for the earth and for human. Through changes in behavior, difficulties caused by natural disasters should be reduced and overcome, now and later. The quality of human life could consequently be enhanced. The Padjadjaran International Conference on Psychology 2011, is organized by the Faculty of Psychology, Padjadjaran University, to celebrate its Golden Anniversary. Under the theme 'Psychology for a Better Future', this conference is expected to be a momentum for introspection, for sharing the spirit of humanity, and for bringing ideas for developing healthy life-style, and behaviors that are environmentally friendly and harmony with nature.
