I bought a few kits from Sherry Serafini while I was in Maine, and this is the very first one I finished. Its name is Mag Pie.✨
I also designed a matching pair of earrings for it, because once you enter a Sherry Serafini piece, you don’t just bead it… you start living inside its little magical universe.
Sherry is truly a goddess of bead embroidery art. Her work is wild, fearless, layered, unexpected, and endlessly inspiring. I am absolutely over the moon that I had the chance to purchase kits from her in Maine and create a piece by such an incredible artist.
(For the time being, only the right-side earring is a real piece. The one on the left is still virtual… but I simply could not wait to share them. 😄)

I am so excited to finally announce our new Zoom class on August 16 at SocialBeadia:
The Butterfly Keeper 💚
This piece feels like a tiny hidden garden turned into jewelry… full of antique gold details, earthy turquoise tones, flowers, leaves, and of course… a butterfly quietly guarding its secrets. ✨
During this class, we will explore beautiful bead embroidery techniques, layered textures, sparkling details, and many little decorative elements that make this necklace so rich and special.
As you can see, the wooden buttons are all patterned, and every kit will be slightly different depending on which pattern appears on which button size. 😊 That means every Butterfly Keeper necklace will become a little one-of-a-kind treasure of its own.
Honestly… this design stole my heart a little. 😊
I cannot wait to create it together with you, from bead to bead, butterfly wing to butterfly wing. 🦋

Csodálatos két hetet töltöttem az USA-ban, három napot Bostonban, a többit pedig egy csodaszép óceánparti maine-i kisvárosban, Ogunquitben, ahol két hétvégén tanítottam a SocialBeadia szervezésében tartott rendezvényen. Igazán szívmelengető napokat töltöttünk együtt, találkozhattam legnagyobb tanítómmal, mentorommal, múzsámmal, Sherry Serafinivel, aki szintén instruktor volt a rendezvényen (1. kép). 🥰🥰🥰

Ma tanfolyamon voltam a Gyöngyszigetben, de nem én voltam a tanár!!!! Peng Edit sujtásékszer-tanfolyamán voltam, és imádtam. Íme, a nagy mű. Mivel a fűzőszálat egyáltalán nem láttam, csak érzésből és hitből készült az ékszer, ezért kósza szálak, hurkok itt-ott felbukkannak, és nyomokban némi szimmetriát is fel lehet fedezni a nagy műben. De tényleg csak nyomokban.Hehehe. 🤣🤣

In my dreams, in the deep green stillness of the forest, I was playing with wooden buttons and clearly not planning anything serious. Then this happened. Someone must guard the moment of transformation. This piece is called Butterfly Keeper. The kits will be waiting in Maine. 🥰
