SSAA joins the Singapore Business Federation

The SSAA has joined the Singapore Business Federation, the "Apex Business Chamber" in Singapore. The organisation is the biggest in the city representing its biggest companies, including many SSAA members.

The SSAA was invited to submit an application that was duly accepted. In recent years, we have worked with the SBF to address policy issues. This membership formalises an already productive working relationship. We anticipate further collaboration to strengthen the Singaporean economy and create opportunities for large and small businesses and the people who depend on them.

The SSAA's membership in the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) strengthens a commitment to connecting the wider self-storage industry with Singapore’s broader business community, policy conversations and cross-sector opportunities.

As Chairperson of the SSAA, Helen Ng (CEO, Storage) is committed to advancing professional standards, consumer confidence and sustainable growth across the self-storage sector.

“The connection between SBF and SSAA creates a valuable platform to raise awareness of self storage as an essential service for entrepreneurs and businesses. It also supports our industry’s efforts to share best practices, strengthen trust and contribute meaningfully to Singapore’s evolving space and business needs, " says Helen Ng. “We will proudly display our membership on our website and look forward to engaging with the broader SBF community, ” she adds.

MEMBER MEET UP! From India to ...Tokyo! New member Store My Goods, led by CEO Sudeep Gupta, visited Tokyo recently and got to meet with the best in Japan!

SSAA Board member Dan Morisaku of Ichigo Inc. put together the morning line-up, including the must-see Rental storage association Japan レンタル収納スペース推進協議会 major domo Tokuo Yoshida. He is one of the most welcoming people in the entire global industry.

They also met with the Mitsubishi people from Sumally Inc. including the social media star, Chief Strategy Officer Marina Komeda! Here with her two colleagues.
