The 6th monitoring meeting took place n Rethymnon, Crete, on 26/5/2023. All partners of the program participated in the meeting had the opportunity to discuss issues concerning the progress of the program so far, as well as the future actions for its successful completion.

Also, on 25/5/2023 a visit was made to two pilot areas where the equipment has been installed (an olive farm in the Valsamonero area and a cow farm in the Agios Konstantinos area) for the measurement of greenhouse gases.

Under the European Program ClimaMeD LIFE17 CCM-GR-000087 " Innovative technologies for climate change mitigation by Mediterranean agricultural sector" - Climamed, and the action E2 (Dissemination, Communication and Networking), Associate Professor Antonis Zorpas from Open University of Cyprus, as stakeholder of the project, visited many Universities across Europe:

• the University of Elche in Spain and Dr. Jose Navarro Pedreno and his colleagues (13/10/2022) and he has a lecture with students from the university, on 20th of October (20/10/2022).
• the International Hellenic University of Thessaloniki and Dr. Petros Samaras (16/11/2022),
• the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Dr. Constantinos Kartalis (7/11/2022),
• the University of Aegean and Dr. Dimitris Lekas (the meeting was held in Athens) (11/11/2022)
• the "Université de Haute Alsace" in Mulhouse France and the Dr. Lionel Limousi, Dr. Mejdi Jeguirim and Simona Bennici (17/1/2023) and Dr. Patrick Dutournie (18/1/2023)

Through the meetings Dr. Zorpas informed them about the progress of the program, and exchanged opinions and ideas on issues related with sustainable agriculture, circular economy, climate change, etc. https://life-climamed.eu/

Under the European program ClimaMed LIFE17-CCM_GR_000087, Iliana Papamichael participated in the Spring School on Circular Bioeconomy, on 27th-29th of March 2023 in , Waste Management Laboratory - University of the Aegean. The presentation was “The impact of climate change in the Agri sector. The case study of LIFE - Climamed project” which is co-funded by the EU. LIFE ClimaMed is an ambitious project that aims to provide devices and decision-support tools for the measurement of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from the agricultural sector and the quantification of soil organic matter changes (SOC). ClimaMed will facilitate and incentivize behavioral change at local and regional level by providing additional initiatives to farmers for the transition to low GHG emissive agricultural practices.
