One more polymer clay neckpiece in velvet effect with a little fleur-de-lis embellisment!
It's hanging on a stainless steel neckring!
This violet colour,along with the velvet effect make an overall impressive,classy piece of jewellery,I think!

Ακόμη ένα περιδέραιο από πολυμερή πηλό σε εφέ βελούδου με ένα μικρό διακοσμητικό fleur-de-lis επίσης από πολυμερή πηλό.Κρέμεται σε χρυσή λαιμαργία από ατσάλι.
Αυτό το μωβ-βιολε χρώμα σε συνδυασμό με το εφέ βελούδου,κάνει αυτό το κόσμημα ιδιαίτερα εντυπωσιακό κι αρχοντικό,νομίζω!!

A new polymer clay neckpiece in velvet effect, embellished with polymer clay fleur-de-lis elements,which,I think,add a royal feel to it!
It's hanging on a bronze, hammered,handmade neckring!
I loved the way it turned out,so I will stick to this technique for a while trying some more colours!!
What do you think?

Περιδέραιο από πολυμερή πηλό,σε εφέ βελούδου!! Είναι στολισμένο με χρυσά στοιχεία fleur-de-lis που του προσδίδουν μια αίσθηση αρχοντική νομίζω!!
Κρέμεται από χειροποίητη, σφυρήλατη,ορειχάλκινη λαιμαριά!

Μου άρεσε το αποτέλεσμα και λέω να μείνω για λίγο σ'αυτή την τεχνική!

One more pair of perforated,polymer clay earrings, this time in dark crimson red!
Surface treatment with low temperature enamel.The holes are gilded with copper liquid leaf!! I loved how the colour turned out!!
Hope you like them!!

Ακόμη ένα ζευγάρι διάτρητα σκουλαρίκια από πολυμερή πηλό,αυτή τη φορά σε βαθύ κόκκινο.Επεξεργασία με σμάλτο χαμηλής θερμοκρασίας και επιχρύσωμα τρυπών με υγρό φύλλο χρυσού σε χάλκινο χρώμα!

New polymer clay earrings.Bold,yet lightweight.
Surface treatment with low temperature enamel,gilded with bronze liquid leaf.
More colours are yet to come...hopefully!!😊

Καινούργια σκουλαρίκια από πολυμερή πηλό.
Επεξεργασμένα με σμάλτο χαμηλής θερμοκρασίας,χρυσομένα με μπρονζέ υγρό φύλλο χρυσού.

Ακολουθούν κι αλλά χρώματα...ευελπιστώ!!😊

This necklace is a combination of my two loves,polymer clay and needle weaving.The elements are made with polymer clay and the inlaid details are needle woven and embroidered with fresh water pearls.The necklace ribbons are also needle woven ,the same technique as the inlaid details.
Textured stamp by , ,the raised details are hand painted with gold gilding,the metallic yarn by .
I used Cernit polymer clay opaque white,

An overall strenuous and time consuming process,but worth the while,I think!

After quite a long time back to polymer clay with these earrings.Their design is based on a much appreciated brooch I made a long time ago in silver and later a variation in polymer clay always having in mind the creation of similar earrings,so,finally, here they are! Hope you like them!

Μετά από αρκετό καιρό,πίσω στον πολυμερή πηλό μ'αυτα τα σκουλαρίκια! Το σχέδιο είναι βασισμένο σε μια καρφίτσα που είχα φτιάξει πριν πολύ καιρό,πρώτα σε ασημί και μετά την παραλλαγή της σε πηλό.Ειχα πάντα κατά νου να φτιάξω και τα αντίστοιχα σκουλαρίκια,οπότε τώρα ήρθε η σειρά τους!
Ελπίζω να σας αρέσουν!!

I needed a break from claying,so I turned to my other love,needle weaving.I felt like making something colourful but not flowers,so I found the idea of a macaw parrot quite intriguing.
This brooch is the result of a rather time consuming and laborious process,including needle weaving with metallic yarns,assembling,embroidering with miyuki beads,attaching the feathers,padding and finally lining the back!!! I did enjoy it though!

Η αναρτήσεις γίνονται απ' ευθείας από το instagram γι'αυτό και τα Αγγλικά!
Αυτή ,λοιπόν,είναι η καινούργια μου καρφίτσα ,ένας παπαγάλος macaw, που την έφτιαξα με την μέθοδο της μικροϋφαντικής και μεταλλικά νήματα Svoronos - Μεταλλικά Νήματα/Metallic Yarn .
Αρκετά κοπιώδης και χρονοβόρα διαδικασία μιας και περιλαμβάνει διάφορα στάδια και τεχνικές,συν την επίλυση τεχνικών δυσκολιών στην ύφανση.
Το απόλαυσα,όμως!!
Ελπίζω να σας αρέσει,κάθε σχόλιο ευπρόσδεκτο!!

A new polymer clay neckpiece in various hues of gold and pearl,inspired by Dona Kato's mica shift technique.The polymer parts are hanging on three rows of nephrite faceted beads,which in reality are more creamy in colour.
Bold,yet elegant...I think!

Περιδέραιο από πολυμερή πηλό
( Cernit metallics,Cernit pearl) σε διάφορους τόνους του χρυσού και περλέ.
Οι χαντρούλες είναι ταγιέ νεφρίτης,πιο κρεμ απ'ότι στις φωτογραφίες.Ογκώδες μεν,κομψό δε...νομίζω...εσείς τι λέτε;
