Stop bottling your emotions and hoping they will just vanish. It doesn't work like that.

You're simply going round in circles and someday that which you've bottled up for long will burst in the most uncomfortable and unpleasant way possible.

You need to pour it out the right way, you need to heal. You need to talk to someone that can help today.

You can talk to us. Start your journey to peace of mind and genuine happiness by sending us a message today to book a counseling session. The first 10 - 15 mins are FREE.

You are what you think and what you say to yourself matters a lot.

This new week (and every other day) flood your brain with positive words. Don't dwell on the negatives, focus on the good things. Visualise the future you want.

Declare the things you want to be true for your life as if it were already true and it will manifest.

Do you practice positive affirmations? What are your favourite affirmations? Share with us in the comment section.

With all that's happening in Africa and the world at large, it is important now more than ever that you protect your mental health.

Don't ignore your feelings because you don't like them. Address them. Tell those around you how you feel. Stay away from social media if you need to. Don't feed your anxiety with the wrong content or bad energy.

Most importantly talk to a professional counselor or mental health expert. You don't have to go through the struggle alone.

We can help. Send us a message or call us to book a free 10 - 15 mins to talk about anything affecting you.

Ever felt like you're burning out because you can't say no to people's requests? Well, this post is for you.

You can be a nice person with a kind heart and still say no. You don't have to burn yourself out to help people. As much as you'd like to help everyone you can, try to only do it when you can.

Block out time to rest and rejuvenate. If you have a full table, tell them you have a lot to work on. If you're tired, tell them you're tired and can't be of help right then.

The same thing applies to helping friends and family with money.

Remember this, you can only keep giving to others when the source is still full. If you burn out, they will most likely find someone else. So take care of yourself all the time.
