I run jewellery and silversmithing one day adult workshops from my studio on the beautiful Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire. The workshops are limited to 5-8 participants and aimed at those with little or no experience of making to those with more advanced skills.

Coming Soon ……at long last!
New outdoor jewellery experiences in 2021!
My new outdoor jewellery making experiences will start from June 2021. These outdoor experiences will bring together a love of nature, making and well being.

More details ….
Each workshop will be Covid secure and held outside in several stunning outdoor locations, carefully selected for their beauty, inspiration and tranquility. There will be a choice of either the backdrop of a beautiful woodland setting or alternatively a more formal historic outdoor setting. All my jewellery workshops will be held outside in north Nottinghamshire. In a day you will be able to make a nature or plant inspired piece of jewellery as well as enjoy a campfire (woodland location only) and homemade organic refreshments. Each workshop will offer plenty of both covered and outside space for everyone to spread out and create safely.

The workshops will go live for booking 1 May 2021
Places will be limited so be ready to book your place!

Brighten up your January! Join me this Saturday at the Maker's Club workshop at the Harley Gallery and learn a variety of ways to assemble a badge or brooch using found objects. Use formica, paper, old thimbles, vintage tickets, wood, buttons, tiny tins and old rulers. The list is endless! Bring your own found items to personalise your work.

Free this Sunday and looking for something fun and festive to do? I have two places left for this Christmas metal workshop where you can make your own copper and pewter Christmas decorations using my own press tools. Choose from birds, bears, leaves and all sorts of flora and fauna to adorn your own tree or to make as gifts for Christmas.

Make a silver winter brooch or pendant inspired by Christmas foliage and sweet little robins. Use silver sheet and wire for holly leaves, Christmas roses, mistletoe and robins to make a piece of jewellery to celebrate the festive season.

I have just finished this beautiful bangle commission.
The plant charms represent the name Soren S for sycamore, O for oak, R for rowan and the rowan berries, E for erica and N for nettle. I'm really pleased with the results and particularly the orange red half drilled carnelians used for the rowan berries.... I think these will make great new designs for pendants and earring combinations accompanied with the pointed silver rowan leaf. We chose Rowan as one of the middle names for our new daughter so I think I will have to make a version of this to celebrate her arrival.

I will be adding more unique and batch produced items over the next few days. There are some new flower earrings, pendants and some fantastic one off rose cut stone rings to choose from. Over the next few weeks I will also be busy with our most recent and unique creation - our newborn baby girl who is fast asleep on my knee (3 weeks old today!)
