Today was a wee run-about day!

First stop was Govanhill to pick up some chairs, which naturally turned into reminiscing about old haunts, followed by coffee and a pastry at Jeju, absolutely delicious.

Then it was back to the studio to get a bit more painting done before the school pick-up.

Later we met with the lovely Jamie from Tyger Security to chat through some bits and bobs, and ended up learning loads about the history of the buildings behind us. Apparently the donkeys from the old bakery used to sleep in them, and some of those buildings have been there for hundreds of years! Every day we seem to uncover another wee bit of history about this place.

Then back out again to have a nosey at some pews from the old parish church, which is currently being renovated. Obviously we couldn't just look... 😂 So two of the pews will soon be making their way up to Bright Door Studios — along with two old organ pipes, because apparently I can't be trusted around interesting old things.

Honestly, we feel so lucky with the support we've been receiving since getting the keys. The donations, shares, offers of help, kind words and people just genuinely wanting to see this place come to life mean so much.

It makes me feel slightly less mad for taking this whole thing on 😂

Another day closer 💛🚪

"How do you clean all the rubbish you collect?"

Well... this is how! 👇

Every piece I collect goes into this little wash bag. Once it's full, it goes straight into the washing machine. 🫧

After a quick litter pick in Viewpark today I filled her up, so in she went! It's always a bit exciting opening it afterwards, seeing all these forgotten bits cleaned up and ready for a second chance.

I can't wait to see what these pieces become next. 💚♻️

My wee recycled plastic bracelets have been flying out lately... so much so they completely sold out at my last market! 💚♻️

I've been busy getting the heat press fired up and making a fresh batch, but I couldn't resist adding a new, chunkier style too... and I think I'm a wee bit in love with them! 😍

Every bracelet is handmade from reclaimed plastic, giving waste a second chance as something colourful you can wear.

You'll find both designs with me this Saturday at the Makers & Merchants Market in Lanark. Pop by, say hello, and grab your favourite before they disappear again! 🌈✨

Yesterday I introduced you to Miss Teri... but every good vending machine needs a cracking team behind her, so let me introduce the staff... 😏

🐦 George Seagull – Head of Quality Control. His only job is reminding folk to "Dinnae Be Rubbish." He's seen things... mostly chips and discarded wrappers.

🐦‍⬛ Rustle Crow – Litter Enforcement Officer. He's no angry... just permanently disappointed. His message? "Haud Yer Litter."

🦭 Shug the Seal – Customer Complaints Department. He's handing out The Seal of Disapproval to anyone who thinks the sea's a bin

Shelldon Cooper – Returns department. Every crisp packet, bottle and takeaway box gets stamped "Return to Sender." The ocean's no accepting deliveries.

They're a daft bunch, but they're all based on a serious truth... our wildlife is left dealing with the mess we leave behind.

So, if you're giving Miss Teri a wee spin at the Makers & Merchants Market this Saturday, who are you hoping to take hame?

And more importantly... who's your favourite member of the team? 👀💚♻️

Made by my own fair hands... meet Miss Teri! 🩷✨

After a lot of cardboard, cutting, tweaking (and a fair bit of head scratching!), she's finally ready to make her debut.

She's all stocked up with four brand new sticker designs and is ready to dish out a little surprise with every turn.

If you fancy giving Miss Teri a spin, come and find us at the Makers & Merchants Market this Saturday in Lanark. I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of her!

See you there! 💕
