We decorated this large kitchen some years back and we been asked to return to redecorate it again.

Two coats of Dulux high quality mat white emulsion for the ceilings and the coving,
Two coats of Dulux high quality mat emulation in natural calico, and the back wall above the sink in a light gray, we used eggshell as the customer wanted for cleaning of any splashes again in Dulux.

We then prepared all skirting’s, doorframes and doors, to be painted in a white satin finish, 3 x coats and using dulux high quality paint,

In Memory of Keith R. Kernspecht

The Wing Tsun world mourns the loss of their legend. Keith R. Kernspecht, the founder of the EWTO (European WingTsun Organization), has passed away. Since 1976, he dedicated his life to bringing Wing Tsun to Germany and Europe, influencing countless practitioners and leaving an enduring legacy.

Keith R. Kernspecht was not only a pioneer but also a teacher and for some an inspiration who walk the path of Wing Tsun today. His contributions to martial arts and his vision for spreading the art have shaped generations of Wing Tsun students.

Let us honor Wing Chun as a beautiful martial art by continuing the journey he began with his Organization and preserving the values and principles of IP Man's Wing Chun code of conduct.

Rest in peace, Keith R. Kernspecht. Respect!

Repainting of the outside walls low level. The previous paint was in poor condition can’t see by the photos, due to someone painted over the green algae and dirt.

We scraped all loose paint and scrubbed down the walls with a wire brush removing any loose flaky material and scrubbed down by washing off with algae remover cleaner and to wash off the grime.

We then applied 3 coats of exterior sandtex smooth White paint to the walls, and just to give it a finish touch we painted the gas pipe at the bottom of the wall in white. We had been recommended for this job.

Was asked to paint the fence. As it was natural wood and not been painted before we recommended oil as she wanted to have a natural look.

We applied two coats of natural decking oil to the fencing, it’s not the cheapest but will last longer than the Ronseal once fence paint. Which in fairness don’t add any protection and it is more cosmetic look. You can get oil with a colour if you want something with colour.
We be starting of a repaint of a fence that we had been recommended, and it’s in bare timber. But he be having natural light oak, so we get some photos and post up on are page.

Garden maintenance of the bungalow we redecorated, this was so over grown we basically did a major cut back of the buddleia it was at the back and growing over the rear of someone’s garden it must of been 50 foot we was pulling back, we cut the buddleia down to a reasonable size for it to flourish again. The laurels we removed a lot in the hight and width. The owners have a farm and the lads cleared the waste. We tidy up the hedges and shrubs and removed a lot of brambles.
The landlady decided to have the fencing done but ran out of money so they said they try and have a go at it themselves. But not have fancy fencing just a basic rails. As you can see it total filled up the back yard and we ran out of space. But they cleared it on a weekend so we can finish offon the Monday

Part 2, of total redecoration of the two bedroom bungalow

After all the hours work of the preparation from hanging wall paper, sanding and filling sanding and filling etc,
We applied 3 to 4 coats of dulux white matt emulsion to the ceilings and walls, to all the rooms and the hallway, customer requested all ceilings and walls be painted in white as recommended by the letting agents.

After we painted all ceilings and walls we painted all the woodwork, door linings/architraves, skirting boards, window seals and interior doors. 3 to 4 coats In Dulux satinwood,

Same in all the rooms, kitchen, bathroom hallway conservatory, lounge and bedrooms

The front door has 3 coats of teak stain, and glossed the door frame.

The customer had to send her plumber round sue to the boiler not working correctly and the property has been empty since Christmas, so it was cold and damp and the paint on the walls was still slightly wet from the day before, and the filler was not drying out, so we needed the heating on over night. Plumber returned to fix a leak and complemented on the job we was doing, as he said it’s a total transformation and can’t believe it’s looks so much better. As the previous tenant did not take care of the property.
Also we had to remove the interior doors as they was get stuck on opening and closing, we planned a little on the door edges, the lounge door had to be repairs as door was damaged due to forced open and the tenant did a lawful repair to hide it. The landlady not noticed it until we pointed it out.
We kept finding issues as we was working on the property but understood this was going to be the case,

The landlady contacted us after the job was complet to fix a mirror to the wall, new shower head and hose plus sower rail. Curtain rails and bath room lock. We don’t mind small jobs.

I’m sure I had missed bits out we also done stuff in the garden. Photos in the next part.

The landlady was so chuffed and she and her brother said we worked to a very high standerd and she never expected to turn out like this.
I hope they found a good tenant to take care of it as a lot of work went into it and a lot of stress and money from the landlady. As she had enough on her plate.

This is part 1 of this total redecoration of a two bedroom bungalow. And some general repairs
As there to many photos to put in one post.

First thing we did was removing all wall furniture, curtain rails, lampshade, carpets and carpet beads and removed the old underlay in two rooms, as most of the underlay was in good condition, removing mirrors etc etc, as this was a rental.

Removing old wallpaper in one room wear the paper had come ing away and peeling off, due to moisture due to the Tennent drying his laundry in that room,

Removed the wallpaper in front bedroom,

Rehanging of lining paper to the bare walls after preparation, to the front and back bedrooms,

Lounge and dining room we prepared walls and ceilings cutting out cracks and using a scrim to reduce the cracking and filled the cracks.

The walls in the bathroom was like crocodile skin, very small cracks covered the entire walls this is due to a emulsion painted over a eggshell finish and not preparing the surface, it was awful, so we sanded the walls back until smooth, filled any holes, cracks and imperfections.

Kitchen we replaced some tiles that came off from the wall, and regrouted. Prepped the walls and washed down, again filling any imperfections,

Conservatory had very flaky paint, a damaged window seal, Customer did not want to replace it due to costs and asked to just repair it to the best we can. We removed all the blinds in the conservatory due to mold fungi damage due to tenant not opening the windows for ventilation.

After all hard work into the preparation before we can start to redecorate, photos in part two
