Tulasi Maharani Jewellery

The idea was to create a jewellery line that enhances the beauty of the sacred Tulasi wood as there was none at the time combining Tulasi Wood, Sterling Silver and Semi precious Stones. I made my first Neckbeads after curating beautiful materials and presented them to pleased customers upon returning to Europe and the U.K. The sacred Tulasi we use comes directly from the holy places of Vrindavan a

nd Radhakund ( India). The Tulasi beads are made by the best craftsmen in ancient tradition of carving , they are then soaked in mustard oil and polished with bee's wax to give them a shine. The Stones are high quality gem stones from Rajasthan , they are clear stones, all natural and not reconstituted. Many of them are hand facetted to bring the shine out of the bead. I hand pick all material myself to insure the best quality, authenticity and traceability of the products. Each item is created thoughtfully according to an ethnic influence, often from personal travels; the Arts and Crafts from Rajasthan, Orissa and Nepal have great influences the aesthetic of our jewellery.
