Just a little reminder as we head into the weekend...

You don't have to drink alcohol just because it's Friday.

You don't have to "treat" or reward yourself with something that leaves you feeling tired, anxious and less able to enjoy your weekend.

We've been sold the idea that alcohol is the reward. The way to relax. The way to celebrate. The way to switch off.

The alcohol industry spends billions convincing us of that.

But there are so many other ways to reward yourself that don't come with a side order of regret, a fuzzy head or a disrupted night's sleep.

A walk on the beach.
A good book.
A takeaway.
A bath.
An early night.
Time with people you love.

Whatever your weekend looks like, remember this:
