Hot off the bench.... the Hedgewitch collection

There’s a quiet kind of magic that lives at the edges, in hedgerows, in wild places, in the knowledge passed hand to hand rather than written down. The Hedgewitch Moon Pendant Collection draws from that liminal world, where silver catches moonlight and plants hold their own ancient language.

Each crescent moon pendant is handcrafted in silver, its surface textured like worn earth and bark, a place where botanical forms emerge, not decorative, but symbolic. These are not just plants, but companions of the hedgewitch, guardians, guides, and keepers of subtle power.

Mugwort is the dreamer’s herb, soft and silvery, known for intuition, vision, and the unseen paths of sleep and spirit. The Mugwort Moon carries a leaf-green Serpentine and is a piece for those who walk between waking and dreaming, guided by instinct.

Thistle is fierce and untouchable, a symbol of resilience and quiet strength. Growing where little else will, it speaks of protection and defiance. Set with a rich amethyst stone, the Thistle Moon holds a steady, grounding energy, a reminder that beauty and defence can exist together.

Hawthorn is the tree of thresholds and enchantment. Long associated with the fae and the crossing between worlds, hawthorn brings protection and heart-centred energy. Its pendant is paired with a deep red Garnet, echoing both berry and blood. The Hawthorn Moon is a talisman of courage, love, and sacred boundaries.

This collection is designed to feel like a found object, something discovered rather than made, as if it has always existed in the landscape. Oxidised silver, hand-cut botanical details, and carefully chosen gemstones to create a sense of age, story, and quiet magic. These moons are personal talismans, rooted in folklore and the wild edges of nature, carrying the spirit of the Hedgewitch wherever they go.

'Enchanted Forest'
In the darkest depths of the forest, where the roots of the ancient Oaks twist like sleeping serpents and the wind whispers to the leaves, shimmering lights flicker into life.
Beckoning, they drift deeper and deeper, weaving between the gnarled trunks and beneath low, knotted branches. The air grows cooler and the shadows dance. The witching hour belongs to the enchanted.

This spell binding pendant is full of old forest magic and detailed with silver oak leaves.
Oak trees are one of the most revered forest trees. Their wood is often used for making wands, staffs, and protective talismans, and oak leaves and acorns are commonly used in spells for strength, stability, and grounding.

Entirely hand made, this piece is shaped to reflect the foliage of the forest.
Each oak leaf is individually pierced from silver, then hand engraved and finally each is attached to it’s own silver stem. They are then individually soldered in place.
They surround a stunning rectangular Labradorite – a doorway leading us into the depths of the forest. In certain light, this stone displays the most gorgeous greens and blues.
The oak leaves also reach up to the crescent moon above, which has been textured using the technique of fusing.
Above, a silver ‘halo’ frames the whole piece, whilst a single leaf and two Labradorite beads add a lovely sense of movement.❤

'Huginn and Muninn' Earrings
The Norse God, Odin, had two Ravens upon whom he bestowed the power of speech - Huginn, meaning "thought" and Muninn, meaning "memory".
Odin relied heavily on his Ravens to act as his eyes and ears over the great domain he ruled, and the battles he fought. Each morning at sunrise they were sent off to fly throughout the nine realms to gather information.
In the evening they returned to Odin in Asgard, to sit on his shoulders and pass on to him everything they had witnessed or heard.
How fitting they are reimagined as earrings! ❤

'Dragon Hill'
This piece is inspired by the legend surrounding Dragon Hill, an ancient and rare natural chalk mound with an artificially flattened top which sits directly below the Uffington White Horse.
According to legend, Saint George slew the dragon here and a bare patch of chalk, upon which no grass will grow, is said to be where the dragon’s blood was spilled. If A similar white patch can be seen on the Bloodstone ‘hill’, and a pierced soaring dragon details the reverse.
The White Horse is carved into a textured hill, beneath a 9ct gold crescent moon, and inside a Gothic arched frame.
The arch is detailed with hand cut leaves and stems, and set with a tiny fine blue moonstone.
Blue Moonstone and silver beads hang below the piece creating a lovely sense of movement. ❤

'Raven The Protector' captures the powerful presence of the raven as it wraps protectively around the finger, wings curved in a gentle embrace.
Long regarded in myth and folklore as a guardian of knowledge, mystery, and transformation, the raven is a creature that walks the boundary between worlds. He is observant, wise, and fiercely protective.
Meticulously hand cut from substantial and sustainable sterling silver, he is set with a stunning deep red oval garnet.
Garnet has long been worn as a stone of protection and strength, believed to guard the wearer and keep their inner fire burning bright through darkness and challenge.

Together, raven and garnet form a quiet talisman — a symbol of watchful guidance, resilience, and hidden wisdom.

Inspired by the badger cubs we are privileged to have in our garden every spring, this piece depicts a tiny baby badger beneath the night sky.
Entirely handmade, this pendant captures the inquisitive way badgers listen and sniff the air, sensing someone is near. Because their eyesight is poor, they rely heavily on these senses.
Created from four layers of meticulously hand cut sterling silver, Bertie measures just 19 mm and is hand engraved with a fur texture.
‘Bertie By Moonlight’ celebrates the quiet courage and curiosity of young woodland creatures. Like Bertie, it reminds us to pause, breathe in the night air, and notice the tiny mysteries that live all around us. ❤

For those who were interested....

‘The Witch’s Kitty’, ancient familiar, watcher of the unseen, and keeper of hidden paths.
Rooted in mythology and witchcraft lore, the cat has long been a companion of mystics and wise women, an intuitive guide walking the boundary between the ordinary and the enchanted.
Across the feline’s body, delicate hand-pierced symbols shimmer like tiny constellations. The sacred Triple Moon, waxing, full, and waning, honours the timeless rhythm of the Goddess and the cycles of nature. A scattered star whispers of night skies and distant magic, while tiny hearts soften the spell with warmth, love, and devotion.

Entirely handmade from layers of sustainable sterling silver, ‘The Witch’s Kitty’ is a talisman of female intuition and empowerment, and the subtle magic woven through everyday life. ❤

'Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt!' 😂
I think spring fever is in the air 😆
The old man just wants to get on with his dinner while the youngsters play fight ❤
Only three badgers in last night. I'm hoping there are some nursing in the sett and that we will have badger cubs in the garden by the end of March/early June.

When twilight softens the edges of the world and the last birds fall silent, four graceful hares gather to enchant us with their dance.

It is said that hares gather in hidden clearings as dusk settles, rising on their hind legs to spin and leap in their mysterious ritual known as the dance of the hares. Some say it is a celebration of the turning moon, others whisper that it is an ancient greeting to the night itself. For centuries these twilight dances have been seen as signs of magic, transformation, and quiet wild joy.
This necklace captures that fleeting moment.

Each hare is hand-pierced from sterling silver, carefully shaped and brought to life with delicate hand engraving, so no two are quite the same. Their forms seem almost mid-movement, as if the dance has just begun.
Nestled among them are three glowing twilight amethysts, stones long associated with intuition, dream-magic, and the mysteries of the night sky. Two of the hares carry hand cut crescent moons, symbols of cycles, hidden paths, and the quiet power of twilight.
Together they tell a story in silver of moonlit fields, of secret dances, and of the ancient legends whispered about creatures who step between worlds when the light fades.

Magical, mythical, and entirely unique, this piece is a little fragment of that twilight dance to wear and carry with you. ❤

The Sun earrings....❤
Throughout history the sun has been seen as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds, linking humanity to the universe. Its reliable cycle of light and darkness provides a sense of order and continuity, shaping not only practical aspects of life but also reflections on the meaning, value and purpose of human existence. The sun’s role in ancient cultures and myths extends far beyond its physical presence in the sky. As a symbol of power, a focus of rituals, and a source of inspiration, it held a central place in the human imagination.

These stunning earrings pay homage to the sun.
Entirely handmade from sustainably sourced, recycled sterling silver and set with a sparkly orange sunstone at their centre.
Sunstone is a glittering gemstone which symbolises joy, vitality, personal power, and abundance. The stone has a long history of spiritual, cultural, and metaphysical significance. The Ancient Greeks associated sunstone with sun gods like Helios and Apollo, believing it bestowed protection, vitality, and prosperity. In Norse Culture it was believed to help Viking navigators locate the sun on cloudy days, and Indigenous Americans used the stone in rituals and considered it sacred bestowing courage and protective qualities.
Today, Sunstone is seen as a talisman for attracting wealth, success, and overall abundance, amplifying intention and manifestation.❤

'Two For Joy' Magpie earrings
We have a pair of Magpies in the garden every day. They usually nest in the tree at the bottom of our neighbours' garden, so in the summer we usually have lots of youngsters too. They are such beautifully iridescence birds, and so clever. They follow the squirrels around, knowing that the squirrels are burying food, and promptly pinch it! The squirrels are always trying to scare them off, but they're having none of it 😄❤
