This was a really special piece we made recently.

We remade our lovely client’s engagement ring into a more wearable piece for her busy life. She originally had a trilogy ring with a sapphire centre and diamond sides. She found the claws caught on things so wanted to have the ring remade.

Rather than remake the same ring again we talked about what she’d want if she were to have created her ring. With her expanding family she loved the idea of incorporating their birthstones into the ring. We designed a scatter ring using each of their birthstones and setting the sapphire in a secure rubover setting.

This then left us with the side diamonds, what to do? They were calling to be made into the perfect pair of rubover diamond studs. ✨

Can you wear mix metals? It’s always recommended you wear the same metal type when a choosing your bridal set.

If you wanted a white metal engagement ring and a yellow wedding band, then it’s recommended you choose 18ct White Gold and 18ct Yellow Gold.

If you were to wear platinum and yellow gold, the platinum would rub into the gold and wear it down over time.
